Next Exhibition: 12th to 28th June 2009: ABD the gallery 240 Lake Street, Northbridge WA 6003, AUSTRALIA

Australian Artist Carol Rowling's paintings are built up with layers of mixed media and inspired by the remote and urban Australian landscape.

Orginally trained at the Carine and Claremont School of Art she has developed unique methods of building up the surface of her images and to introduce a degree of randomness in the colours.

Carol spends her time equally between the west and east coasts of Australia, in Perth and Sydney.
